Quarantine-restrictive measures have been taken in Luhansk, Poltava, Mykolayiv and Kirovohrad oblasts to strengthen control over the flu situation.

“This is not a (full-blown) quarantine inasmuch as a quarantine envisions more strict measures and restrictions to prevent the spread of the epidemic. Quarantine-restrictive measures are taken to strengthen control over the situation in these oblasts,” explained Head Sanitary Inspector, Oleksandr Bilovol at a press conference.

As is generally known, the State Commission made the decision to strengthen anti-epidemic measures in every region, including the city of Kyiv on November 7, where the number of people ill have is approaching or has surpassed the epidemic threshold.
